The Deane-Woodward Suite is The Kingsley's principal function room providing generous floor space with unobstructed views and a large outdoor terrace for your specific event needs. The function room provides a magnificent air-conditioned ballroom for up to 150 dinner guests or an inspiring conference room for up to 250 delegates theatre-style, with a spacious pre-function area to welcome guests and state-of-the-art audio visual facilities.
The suite is named after Thomas Deane and Benjamin Woodward, two Cork-based architects, who designed much of University College Cork including the renowned Main Quadrangle. The Deane–Woodward Suite is pillar free and depending on the size and needs of the event, it can be further divided into two separate rooms known as the Deane and the Woodward, allowing for a more intimate atmosphere.
For board meetings, interviews or break-out sessions, The Kingsley boasts six dedicated boardrooms adjacent to our business centre on the first floor. The Business Suites are directly linked to the conference centre and car park by lift, making them ideal break-out rooms for The Deane–Woodward Suite.
The Kingsley is situated directly across the road from County Hall. Featuring state-of-the-art facilities, the Cork County Hall offers a variety of versatile and well equipped meeting space, with capacity for a banquet of up to 700 guests. The Vertigo Suite provides breath-taking panoramic views of Cork City and County from the 17th floor, while wood lined Chamber offers seating for up to 80 guests in a tiered theatre style setting.
