A note for members

Dear Member,

The wait is finally over. We are delighted to confirm that we are returning some of our group indoor fitness classes from Monday 27th September 2021.

Ongoing restrictions will only allow for maximum 6 participants; however we are very hopeful that an announcement will be made 22nd of October 2021, that will allow us to increase participants numbers and the number of fitness classes we can offer. 

Participants are permitted to have mixed immunity status, as we will be operating with a strict Pod of 6 method, to allow for continuing social distancing guidelines. 

We will be moving the class booking process to our Glofox Booking App over the next coming of weeks, however we have decided to operate a manual class booking system for the period covering 27/09/2021 to 31/10/2021. We will be communicating further updates regarding the online booking process soon. 

Our class bookings will be available to current Health Club members ONLY up to and including 31/10/2021. Depending on the Government announcement in October and changes to remaining Covid-19 restrictions, we hope to offer non-members class access from 1/11/2021. 

Bookings can be made 3 days in advance, and we will be accepting bookings over the phone ONLY for this period. As our class capacities continue to be restricted, we do understand and acknowledge that members maybe be disappointed and upset that they are unable to secure class bookings, but we will endeavour to do our very best to try and accommodate everyone. 



The Health Club team have been delighted to see our members have returned and we hope you are enjoying The Health Club as much as we are.

We are extremely grateful to you for continuing to abide by our Covid-19 procedures, just a reminder:

  • Members MUST pre-book their scheduled 1 hour booking slot.  Walk-ins will only be permitted provided there is availability
  • All members entering The Health Club are required to wear a face covering.  This includes members who enter the hotel via the underground car park
  • Please disinfect your hands upon entry
  • Please present your Health Club membership key fob and scan
  • Platinum membership holders continue to receive complimentary towel and robe hire, however our Thermal Suite facilities are currently unavailable due to continued social distancing and prevention controls
  • Gold members are welcome to hire a towel at €1 each
  • The allocated locker & changing bays in the Ladies and Gents changing rooms are available to pre-booked members ONLY.  Each changing area has an allocated locker and changing bay, which allows the facility to maintain its social distancing requirements.  We respectfully remind all our Health Club members to adhere to these changing room guidelines
  • Members must be showered, dressed and or ready to leave The Health Club at the end of each time-block, regardless of their entry time. In compliance with government guidelines and industry advice, the entire Health Club will close at the end of each session for 15 minutes to disinfect all areas for the next users
  • All fitness equipment and machinery must be disinfected, before and after each use
  • Members are encouraged to bring a pre-filled water bottle for their workout. Water fountains will be equipped with bottle fillers, but members are not permitted to drink directly from the water fountains
  • As our Sauna temperature is set at 80° C, we are permitted to operate our Sauna as long as physical distancing is adhered to all times.  Therefore, we will operate with a Maximum of 2 users at any one time when we reopen.  We respectfully ask that social distancing guidelines are adhered to all times when using our Sauna facility
  • As our Steam room temperature is set at 45° C, we are permitted to operate our Steam room as long as physical distancing is adhered to all times.  Therefore, we will operate with a Maximum of 2 users at any one time when we reopen.  We respectfully ask that social distancing guidelines are adhered to all times when using our Steam room facility
  • Due to ongoing Industry guidelines and advice, our Spa Pool (Jacuzzi) will remain closed until further notice

Closed Amenities

We are currently awaiting Government Publication on Living With Covid. It is expected that this publication will be available in the coming weeks. Unfortunately until that point, the following amenities remained closed.

  • Thermal Suite
  • Hairdryers are not available
  • Guest Passes & Guest Visits are temporarily suspended until further notice
