The newly renovated Páirc Uí Chaoimh stadium with a capacity of 45,000 opened its gates to the general public for the first time in the summer 2017. The state of the art multi-purpose facility is owned by the Gaelic Athletic Association and provides an invaluable sports and events venu for the citizens of Cork and Ireland.

Ed Sheeran Concert in 2018

Ed Sheeran kicked off his 2018 European and UK Tour at the newly developed Páirc Uí Chaoimh stadium. With a sell out of three nights, the crowds were engage with the musician.

For the entire week leading up to the concert, Red FM rebranded themselves as ED FM. They rebranded with Ed Sheeran's face all their company cars and the Big Red Bus. Páirc Uí Chaoimh hit the 43,000 mark on the Saturday concert.
