Leadership Development Programme

The Fota Collection Leadership Development Programme 2021 in association with CETB and accredited by City & Guilds

The purpose of this programme is to equip candidates with the knowledge, skills and aptitude to prepare for Leadership and Management. This programme is two years in duration and aims to build and recognise high potential employees, retaining talent while also attracting talent. In-turn enhancing the culture of learning and development within the Fota Collection, raising the standards and ongoing in-house promotion and development.

The Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership can help candidates to progress to a more senior role within Hospitality. It allows candidates to broaden their existing knowledge and gain important leadership and management skills, helping them to take on more responsibility.

The Leadership Development Programme is certified by City & Guilds in association with The Cork Education and Training Board. Students graduate with a City & Guilds NVQ L3 qualification after two years on successful completion. Successful completion implicates passing assessments for 12 modules and examination of additional theoretical course work.

The Leadership Development Programme provides a combination of broad on-the-job experience through job rotations across departments and sites, formal classroom training requiring study and research, mentoring and coaching over the course of the programme. This will require personal stamina, hard work, commitment and passion for Hospitality. You will be assigned a course coordinator and mentor/coach.
