Energy Management: We have installed three E-Car Charge Points – Fleet management. HECHP in operation in both hotels. We use LED Lighting upgrades across our hotel. We actioned Refrigeration upgrades projects during renovation works to increase energy efficiencies and water usage & dependence. We utilsie a Water Management Action Plan. Cloud-based data system that allows for significant reductions in power/energy saving.
Green Materials: We have introduced new reusable Eco-Friendly Bamboo Pens. Laundry bags have been replaced with compostable bags Coffee cup lids have been replaced with compostable lids plastic water bottles removed from hotel. Saving 68,976 plastic bottles annually.
We aim to minimise the use of paper in the office and we are reducing packaging as much as possible. We seek to buy recycled and recyclable paper products. We reuse and recycle all paper where possible. We are a member of Repak and we are also part of a continuous tree planting programme. Introduced “Smart Rooms” to reduce paper usage to a minimum. Single use plastic removed from bedrooms. Plastic cups removed from The Health Club. Plastic straws replaced with paper straws. Sustainable sourcing and use of housekeeping products housekeeping conservation practices and guest engagement. Our Candles in The Spa at The Kingsley are natural soya and do not emit fumes. We are currently striving to implement bio-degradable body wraps
